DYI Colored Utensils
What you will need:
Wooden Utensils
Craft Paint
Painters Tape
High Gloss Shellac (FOOD SAFE)
Directions:
1. Tape the portion of the utensil where you don't want to be painted. (example: black tape in the picture)
2. Paint your utensil in your desired color. Let dry and paint again until you achieve the coverage of your choice.
3. Paint on the Shellac and let dry
4. Remove the painters tape and Voila! Matching Utensils to match your kitchen.
NOTE:
I bought a pack of wooden utensils from Ross for only $4. I used Acrylic Craft Paint form Martha Stewart. Also, Food Safe Shellac is very hard to find, they do not carry it at Michaels or Ace Hardware I had to go to a specific hardware store. If you don't have access to that kind of store use FOOD SAFE varnish, should work just as good.
