Oven Fried Chicken
(Healthy version of the classic fried chicken)
Ingredients:
8-12 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into smaller pieces)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
Directions:
MIx together flour, bread crumbs, garlic salt, pepper to make the crumb mixture
Beat together milk and egg to make egg mixture
Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture then roll in crumb mixture
Use cookie sheet lined with foil then spread vegetable oil over foil
Lay chicken on foil and put 1 slice margarine on each piece
Cook 1/2 hour, turn chicken with tongs or using spatula (careful not to remove coating)
Put another slice margarine on the other side of chicken
Bake 1/2 hour more
Chicken should come out nice and crispy!
